THAT’S RIGHT! Even tough some people might say that this is not the case, that money does equal happiness. In my opinion money never has and never will bring true happiness only a shallow feeling of satisfaction that has nothing to do with being happy.
Of course money does have its advantages. But usually people who have a lot of money are always on the phone talking to a new investor, online checking his email and stock, or probably mixed up in something illegal (probably some drug lord), and never has time for anything else wife (if he found the time to get one), kids (if he had the time to have them).
On the other hand there is the simple working man. Has a straight eight hour work time five days a week no over-time (usually), no problems, no nothing. He comes home to a faithful wife (he hopes that she’s faithful at least), hot meal, children who love and respect him.
A millionaire has cars, houses with a backyard the size of a natural reservation, swimming pool, lots of young girls following him around (if the millionaire is a him), even if all of these thing bring us happiness in that moment it doesn’t truly satisfy us.
The simple man from the country-side, a farmer with a working spouse, children that help him, actually enjoys waking up in the early hours of the morning feeding the animals, he enjoys the smell of the barn in the morning, he enjoys cutting the grass, he enjoys the work that he does he never complains about it. He has a simple life yet he is happy and when he looks back he doesn’t see a wasted life in witch he threw money at people to get his wants and needs, and used money to get where he is today, he sees a life that has been lived fully with all the ups and downs that go with it.
